The Huda Academy seeks to hire a Science Teacher.
Duties include:
Teach school grades 6th, 7th and 8th science classes.
Design, develop, and deliver quality lesson plans to meet students’ needs. Design a curriculum as per the Arkansas Science Standards. Instruct students on proper use of equipment, materials, aids and textbooks required to progress in their curriculum.
Conduct evaluations and assess students’ progress on a periodic basis through tests quizzes etc. and deliver helpful feedback to students and parents.Set up demonstrations of scientific experiments, assist and supervise students while they conduct experiments.
Provide tutoring extra-resources, support, and interventions for students who are struggling. Educate the students on STEM based classes which focusing on
introduction to Robotics, Drones, and 3D printing Technology.
Prepare the students to compete in the Central Arkansas Regional Science & Engineering Fair (CARSEF) which is an annual event. Help students choose a good competitive project for the science fair, and understand the science behind the projects.
Job Requirements: Must have Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, physics or related scientific field.
