My name is Marwa Dardas.
I will be teaching 1st Grade. This will be my first year teaching at The Huda Academy.
I am a Palestinian American, who was born and raised in the United States. I lived in the Chicago area for the majority of my childhood. As I grew older, my family moved to Tennessee, and then Florida.
My husband and I moved to Little Rock, when we got married in 2019. We have two little boys, Omar (4) and Odai (2). They keep me busy and very entertained.
I have taught over three years in the public school system. I have taught in both Tennessee and Florida. I graduated from the University of Memphis, with a Teaching All Learners education degree. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. Both my prior experience and degrees give me the tools that I need to meet all our students’ academic needs.
I am very excited about having the opportunity to teach in an Islamic environment and hope to make an impact in our community.
