My name is Abda Khan.

I feel privileged to be teaching in the Huda Academy learning environment. graduated with an associate degree from Kenya.  I moved to the US in the year2001 and lived in Cleveland, Ohio. In Cleveland, I had more than 5 years’ experience interacting with children as a volunteer and was a teacher aide at the Shaker Heights and Beachwood Elementary school systems that are known to be outstanding schools. These schools have received the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Awards, the highest rating of Excellence from the State of Ohio Department of Education. I and my family then moved to Little Rock in the year 2013. I have taught at the Huda Academy for 11 years. In the year 2014, I was a teacher aide and a substitute at the Huda Academy. The year 2015, I was employed as a pre-K teacher and have been a pre-K teacher since then. I have received extensive training in early child development.
